Awicko Hundhwe Calls Out Musa Jakadalla for Sabotaging his Album Launch.
Awicko Hundhwe has come out to criticise organizers of Kadalla Experience festival for planning the event on the same day and area with his upcoming Hawi Biro Mos album.
Awicko had planned his album launch for 14th November 2024. The venue was and still remains to be Egesa Villa in Umoja as per the poster. However, the Kadalla Experience III has also been planned for the same day, and same venue. Awicko now feels this is a way to sabotage his career.
“To the organisers of this Event, I’m just but a Young Man trying to build his music Career. I made the Public aware as well as Our dear Fans about HAWI BIRO MOS ALBUM 1 LAUNCHING as early as 4 Months ago. For any artist especially Upcoming Stars an ALBUM LAUNCH is considered One time affair. Why do this to my Career?” he posted.

Awicko says he respects those in the Kadalla festival event but their action to counter his album launch is a way to kill his career which he has tried to build over time.

“To my fellow Artistes, I have alot of respect to you as Our Icons, Fathers in the Industry. We look so much into your footsteps. Some of you I personally contacted you for the Same Event. Why kill the Career of just a Young Artist trying to Build his career? Why?” he questioned.
He pointed out that other artists have had their album launches over the year so far but have never been sabotaged by any as this was the agreement that any artist planning an album launch must be accorded respect and space needed. However, when it comes to his, things are now different.
“Throughout The Year so many Stars have done their ALBUM LAUNCHES to example; AMISO THWANGO, V MDOGO, PAPA T, FREDY JACHIGA, KAKA TALANTA, OTHICHO JASUBA, AUNGO WUOD AWENDO, as per my knowledge in the LUO MUSIC ASSOCIATION it was proposed that any Artist doing his/her ALBUM Launch was to be accredited enough time foe the Same Activity. Why is Mine different?” he added.

He maintained that his planned album launch still remains the same as was planned.
“To Our dear fans, Our Launching date remains unchanged, it’s 16.11.2024 – EGESA VILLA UMOJA 1.” he finished.
