Elisha Toto Real name, Date of Birth, Place of Birth and Early Life.
Elisha Toto’s real name is Elisha Outa. This artist comes from Suba community in Homa Bay County. One might wonder how he became Elisha Toto yet he was named Elisha Outa, well, Elisha started doing music while still in school and so he was named by fans as Elisha Mtoto Wa Shule. He later shortened the named to Elisha Toto.
Elisha grew up in a family with both his parents but his father sadly passed away on 11th April in 2021. Despite efforts to save his life, the musician revealed to Ghetto radio during an interview that his father was admitted for two weeks in Homa Bay General Hospital. They later transferred him to St. Camillus Mission Hospital in Sori where he died aged 86 years old.
Elisha Toto Education and Music Career
Elisha attended school just like any other child would do in the village. He was a good student who loved art and would participate in music through being a member of the Ramogi Dancers of the school. This shaped his music career leading him to start doing music while still in school.
After leaving school, a keyboardist who was his friend admitted him in their band. They would be doing music in the small village of Uriri in Migori County. In the band, Elisha was just a shaker and would earn as low as only ksh. 15 per day. However, the band could not sustain itself as members quitted music to concentrate on fishing.

Elisha remained with just a friend but they too decided to do fishing. However, they still did music as part time activity alongside fishing. After some time, Odosh Jasuba joined them to form a band where Odosh is the one who was singing. This was their breakthrough and Elisha would now be making about ksh. 50 a day.

Elisha then formed his own band in 2019 and has now employed more than 30 members. Since then, Elisha has done very excellently well in music with various hit songs to his name.

Elisha is yet to release an album but has been releasing single tracks. His first song was Koso Niringa Kapesa Orumo which he released five years ago.
