Othicho Jasuba has ignited the unending debate of Ohangla Music kingship. This is one debate that has never ended among ohangla music fans. Every fan has his or her best artist whom they believe is the greatest.
During an interview with Victor Msafi Kenya, Othicho also decided to talk about this where he said it that Tonny Nyadundo is the only artist worth being called ohangla music king if there is such a title in the industry.

He said that Tonny has all it takes to be crowned king given his contribution in the industry and immense talent he showed during his prime time. According to Othicho, Tonny is capable of even performing before a president as quickly as possible, something he believes no other artist can do.

Othicho acknowledged that despite his own talent and abilities, Tonny Nyadundo is still better than him and so is the reason he crowns him as the King. In his own opinion, having crowd is not the only aspect that makes an artist big. It is for this reason that he cannot say any artist with big crowd is the King.
The Pii Erii song maker declared that he is the king in case people do not want to accept Tonny as the King. Othicho said his stance in Tonny is not about praising him but being realistic in his reasoning given what Tonny has done in the Ohangla genre.
