Miel Matin Meaning and Lyrics by Jabidii

Kevin Okoth Amenge whose stage name is Jabidii is a Kenyan Dholuo rapper born in Kibera slums in Nairobi but his rural home is in Siaya county. He is a top barand artist with unique compositions. He is now trending with his won mother after releasing a song that has left everyone vibing and dancing to.The song Miel Matin has ben a trend since he released it.

The words Miel Matin are Dholuo words meaning Dance (Miel) ‘Small‘ (matin). Though it cannot be taken literally to mean dance small as this makes no sense given that dancing cannot be quantified using small, the phrase means to dance slowly without using too much energy in a way that show class and pride in a positive sense.

This song is a gospel song despite how many who do not understand the language have taken it to be just a random sweet secular song. The use of traditional instruments such as Orutu (one-stringed African fiddle) and drums makes this song so authentic and simple. The song was produced by Aguilaaa from Burundi.
